But, due to the overwhelming demand of customer service requests due to the United States Postal service being very slow about updating shipping status here are a few things to note re: shipping.
We’re super chill folks at High Maintenance and we will always 100% do the right thing and make sure our people are taken care of. But, given the outrage over shipping delays from some of our customers we find it vitally important to remind people that we too, are people.
This photo is the city of Detroit at the beginning of July. We lost nearly $3,000 in packages (and our owner lost her house) and some of y’all were not chill about it. Of course they’ve been replaced and re-shipped but please understand that we can only control the following:
Shipping you reliable and excellently sourced products in a timely manner
Shipping these products to you and providing tracking in a timely manner.
No shipping is free at all ever. It’s just baked into the cost of the product. Our shipping charge is modest and 90% of the time doesn’t cover the cost of packaging your item for shipping so that it is not broken. Some of our items are $1. If we offered free shipping they would have to be $4. See how that works?
We are an independently owned and operated business in a highly regulated market. We are not Amazon or Wal-Mart or Burger King. Once your package is shipped if your local post office moves slowly or the USPS decides to take a day off from updating tracking status please understand we do not own the United States Post office and cannot Colombo-style sleuth where your package is.
We ship Monday-Saturday and are closed on Sunday. If you place an order on Saturday at 4pm, please note that it will not ship until Monday. Orders placed before 2pm ship same day.
I mean, you can try. But if your order gets seized because the country you’re trying to forward it to considers our products to be illegal please do not contact us for a refund. It is 100% your responsibility to know the legality of these products in your location outside of the United States.
Backordered products generally ship in 1 week or less but we ask that you be aware of the state of our current universe and that we are experiencing unprecedented supply chain delays. If you do not want to wait, please do not order a backordered product.
As long as you entered your address correctly, it wasn’t seized because you tried to be sneaky and order illegal products to a regulated area and it was no ones fault but happenstance, we’ll replace your order.
If you would like insurance on your order, use the “Get it Faster” option to ship Priority Mail which will be insured against loss.
Our shipping software will send the following emails to the address you used at checkout. Before opening a shipping inquiry or asking for a status update please check your spam folder.

All of our items ship USPS unless otherwise noted for larger orders or pallets (which require freight delivery). All orders ship within 24 hours with the exception of Sundays and postal holidays.

Order online and collect from our store in as little as 20 minutes. Local pickup is based on our brick and mortar location. Please do not choose this option if you are not in Detroit.

What is your returns policy?
We take quality seriously. It’s the foundation of our brand heart. All of our products are shipped in sealed packages from fresh inventory. If you feel that the quality of your product is not as described please contact us immediately and we will make it right.
Due to the nature of the endocannabinoid system (the highway for CBD in your body) not everyone will have the same response. We make no medical claims, promises, or guarantees. Our products are not intended as a cure, treatment or magic pill for health concerns.
Each and every body is unique and everyone’s experience with hemp is unique. Our job is to source the highest quality available on the market and match that with product education so you can make informed choices. We will not accept returns due to a product not “working”.

My order arrived damaged
We battle test our packaging to make sure it’s crush proof, foolproof and can make it through the mail undamaged (seriously, we stepped on boxes to test them). If a package arrives to you damaged, please contact us immediately and we will make it right.
Where should I mail my authorized return?
We do not accept returns of perishable (hemp, CBD) products due to safety concerns. If for some reason your purchase needs to be refunded we will not require you to return it to us.

What do I do if I entered an incorrect shipping address?
Sorry, we cannot be responsible for packages shipped to the wrong address due to user error. If your package is returned undelivered, we will mail it to you at your cost. Since we offer free shipping, you will have to pay shipping if we need to re-ship your order.
